Unlike its American counterparts, it features a walkthrough dragon's lair beneath it and stunning stained glass that depicts the story of Aurora. It is widely considered the most beautiful Disney castle in the world.
Located in Walt Disney Studios Park, this 4D experience shrinks you down to the size of a rat. You’ll race through Gusteau’s kitchen, dodging giant mops and smelling delicious aromas. It’s a technical marvel that captures the heart of the beloved Pixar film.

This classic Disney dark ride got a spooky upgrade for Paris. It features a darker, more cohesive storyline set in the town of Thunder Mesa, focusing on a bride's tragic wedding day. The animatronics and gothic atmosphere provide a perfectly eerie experience.

Don't miss the nightly Illuminations or Disney Dreams show at the Castle. For the best view, find a spot in Central Plaza at least 30-45 minutes before the show starts.
To experience the most popular rides with minimal wait, arrive at the gates 30 minutes before official opening. If you stay at a Disney Hotel, take advantage of 'Extra Magic Time' to enter the parks early.
If you are visiting alone or don't mind splitting up your group, use the Single Rider lines on attractions like Ratatouille or Hyperspace Mountain to save significant time.
The dream of a Disney park in Europe began in the mid-1980s. After scouts evaluated over 1,200 locations across Europe, the flat plains of Marne-la-Vallée near Paris were chosen for their proximity to two major airports and the RER rail network. The project was immense, requiring years of construction and a massive investment to create what was then known as Euro Disney Resort.
When the gates first opened on April 12, 1992, the park faced initial cultural and financial challenges. However, the resort quickly adapted to European tastes, incorporating more elaborate architectural details and specialized dining options. The renaming to Disneyland Paris in 1994 marked a turning point, aligning the park with its iconic brand while emphasizing its proximity to the City of Light.
The resort expanded significantly in 2002 with the opening of Walt Disney Studios Park. This second gate was designed to immerse guests in the world of cinema, animation, and television, offering a look behind the scenes of movie magic. Over the years, the resort has continued to evolve, adding immersive lands like Avengers Campus and the beautifully themed Ratatouille: The Adventure.
Today, Disneyland Paris is the most visited tourist destination in Europe. It has moved into a modern era characterized by massive multi-year expansions and the integration of diverse franchises like Marvel and Star Wars. As the resort continues to transform—including the rebranding of its second park to Disney Adventure World—it remains a testament to the universal power of imagination and the enduring legacy of Walt Disney.
