La Storia
The Atelier des Lumières is housed within the walls of the Chemin-Vert foundry, an industrial treasure established in 1835 by the Plichon brothers. For over a century, this site was the beating heart of Parisian iron production, fueling the city's architectural transformation during the industrial revolution. After closing its doors in 1929 and remaining dormant for decades, the site was rediscovered by the Culturespaces foundation, which recognized the creative potential of its vast volumes and raw industrial textures.
